Three Hills started with family. Gerard Whelan grew up in his family’s construction business and spent most of his life in the trade before deciding to build something of his own. The skill was already there, proven on real jobs long before the name ever went on a truck. Today Gerard runs his own crew and is on every job himself, from the first look to the final cleanup. No subcontractors.
The name comes from Boston itself, first built on three large hills. It fits a company that works on homes built generations ago on that same ground. Restoring old brick, settling foundations, and weathered chimneys is the part of this trade Gerard loves most.
